Small Groups
We encourage church members to meet during the week in small groups, of which there are over 20 at present. Most small groups normally meet on a fortnightly basis. They are clustered together in groups of three or four so that the small group leaders can be encouraged and supported by Cluster Leaders.
All of these groups provide fellowship on a smaller scale, where members can explore the bible, get to know each other, express their delights and concerns, seek answers in a context of confidentiality and join together in praise, prayer and thanksgiving.
The groups vary in style, which helps to meet the needs of the wide variety of people who participate, approximately well over 100 in total. Two meet in the daytime; one group happily studies amidst the sounds of toddlers, one is aimed at older folk. The evening groups meet on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and deal with different subjects. More recently the groups have looked at healthy church growth, personal discipleship and grace.
There are also small groups within Pathfinders, YPF and No Limits.
