Nigel Taylor - Vicar

Nigel was ordained in 1987 and worked in parishes in Central London & Harrow before coming to Christ Church in 1997.

He is particularly gifted in preaching and teaching and enabling others to recognise their gifts. He is married to Judy Hanson-Taylor who spent 10 years working as a missionary among students in South America before they got married in 1994.

They have two children, a daughter called Anna and a son called Nathan. Nigel is a passionate birdwatcher.

Jo James - Assistant Curate

Jo was licensed on Sunday 24th January, 2010.  She is married to Pete, who is our new Music Director, and they have two children, Isaac and Chrissie.

She is now resident in the parish.

Peter Liddelow - Honorary Curate

Peter has been a teacher for many years and was a Secondary School Head Teacher when he was ordained in 1982 as a non-stipendiary minister. Peter is a member and Chaplain of the Magic Circle.
This sometimes overspills into Peter's sermons as he has been known to throw in the odd surprise to assist with his teachings.

He is married to Sylvia and they have two adult sons and four grandchildren.

Together with his wife Sylvia, Peter has led numerous expeditions of Christ Church members to the Holy Land and followed in the steps of St. Paul! Peter was a magistrate for many years.

 Jill Ridgewell - Parish Administrator

A long-standing member of the church, Jill has several responsibilies within the office including being the Child Protection Officer, maintaining the church and 0-18s databases and being responsible for the church website.

Jill and her husband David host a small group, which runs every fortnight.  She also heads up the Welcome Team.

Kate Saint - Parish Administrator

Kate has responsibility for making sure that everything is ready for services to run smoothly on a Sunday, including producing the service sheets, bulletin and media presentations. 

She is also the secretary of the Church Council and the Electoral Roll Officer.

Jean Corney - Parish Co-ordinator

Jean is the Parish Co-ordinator and is responsible for the smooth running of the parish.  She liaises with all groups within the church and tries to keep everyone happy. 

She is a passionate pray-er and heads up our Prayer Ministry team.

Youth and Children's Pastor

Sarah Wade

Sarah is a qualified teacher and now works full time for the church as the youth and children's Pastor. She is married to Andy and they have lived in Barnet since 2002. Her heart is to see children and young people encounter God in a powerful way, live life to the full and be full, active and key members of the body of Christ. She hopes the youth and children's ministry will inspire, encourage, equip, resource and release children, young people and leaders into all that God has planned for them.
